iTunes Records/Films ???
Dont be surprised to see iTunes Records/Films in the works in the (near) future.
"The Beat goes on" everybody talks iPods the 5th, which is probably the right assumption, but would it not be a surprise if Steve pulled one hell of a giant rabbit ?
With the ongoing attacks from NBC and ealier this year Universal, Steve must have had iTunes Records in mind a few times.
Steve has been been involved with very succesful movie-making for years now, so this would not be a far fetch either.
Let's wait and see, don't be surprised you have been warned ;)

Let me read you a nighttime story.
For many years a beast named Gates ruled the entire world, but then finally one day the bells of liberty began to toll.
The guy behind the bell-rope was none other than the hunchback of the smallest village Appleville, lets call the hunchback Steve.
Steve was soon to be the great "saviour" of the world, (the business world anyway) and nothing could stop him anymore, finally his lifelong quest for the holiest of holy documents "Numbers" was paying off.
Let me tell you about this document.
It was at the time extremely well guarded by Gates, hidden deep inside the cave of Mt. Redmond, but this did not put Steve off, not at all...
He travelled of the far end of the world, quickly slayed the beast, and retrieved the godly document. Steve went home to Appleville and enjoyed much fame and fortune, and he lived happily ever after.
The document however disappeared a few years after Steve's death, and was not retrieved until this Tuesday, in mysterious ways the document reappeared and is once again able to bless people all over the world.
Good night and sleep tight ;)

Is iMovie '08 WAY too basic ?
Yesterday I installed iMovie and was very happy to see the new interface.
I quickly threw on a couple of movie-clips just to play around with this new app.
Sadly it only took me a few minutes too realize that iMovie '08 is way too basic for my taste.
I love Apple for being extremely clean and simple but this is taking it one step too far.
Yes I could write a list of shortcomings, but this would take me all night and probably some of the morning too (the list would be that long, i swear).
The idea behind iMovie is really cool, and the whole concept is so much better than the old version, but there's no support for 3rd party plugins, and the palette of Apples own templates are nice, but almost absent.
Apple is definitely on the right track here, but PLEASE Apple release some updates to this application soon.
Don't erase all the brilliant stuff you spent years on building with iMovie 6

iLife & iWork already leaked to torrent-sites.
iLife '08 & iwork '08 already leaked to torrent-sites only hours after release.
Those pirates do not waste any time ....
A few thoughts on the new Mac products.

First let me be first to congratulate Apple on the new products...they are looking great.
Apple has just bought Cover flow (for a huge load of cash, I guess) and it is a very prominent feature in Leopard, so why did Apple come up with this whole new (just as cool as coverflow) inconsistent way of watching pictures in iPhoto ??
Other than that I love all the new products, especially the new iMovie app.
